The world of Peromysca is extravagant and varied in its landscape and people. The frosty beauty of Arindell, the harsh sands of Agrabah, the untamed beauty of The New World: all of Peromysca is epic in scope. Geographically, Peromysca is made up of two main landmasses: the continent of Sidheim and the large archipelago recently discovered and dubbed the New World. There are five major races in Peromysca, the humans (which are in almost everything), the goblins (from “Sleeping Beauty”), the merfolk (from “The Little Mermaid”), the dwarves (from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”), and the Animals (from just about everything else.) Magic in Peromysca is a bit different from other D&D magic. Divine magic is drawn from the Olympian Gods (a la Hercules), and arcane magic is drawn from the energy inside one’s self. For wizards, this is the brain, and for bards and sorcerers the heart (more on this later). Technology, at the time being, is limited to strictly medieval. No cell phones, flash lights or computers this time. Your characters will be starting their adventures in the nation of Schonheit, a very typical medieval kingdom.
